In our experience, this could be related to a leak from transmission or power steering system. You should not drive the car for too long in this condition. The common reasons are:

• Transmission seals are leaking
• Oil Pan Gasket is leaking
• Transmission cooler line is leaking
• Rack and Pinion is leaking
• Power steering hose is leaking
• Power steering pump has gone bad
